Enhanced Safety and Better Work Conditions in a Modern Residential Facility
As the global population ages, residential care facilities must evolve to offer both comfort and functionality. In a beautifully located care home near Limfjorden, overlooking the Aalborg skyline, modern solutions have been implemented to improve everyday life for both residents and caregivers.
This state-of-the-art facility includes 75 well-appointed two-room apartments (approximately 850 ft²), along with larger units designed to accommodate couples. In the design process, special attention was paid to user independence and employee safety.
To meet these goals, the care home chose Ropox’s height-adjustable solutions. The innovative Swing Washbasin in the bathrooms supports users in maintaining their personal hygiene with greater independence. For caregivers, it offers improved ergonomics and safety, reducing physical strain during assistance. In the kitchen area, a height-adjustable worktable creates a flexible environment where both seated and standing users can comfortably engage in daily activities.

SwingLine is a manual height adjustable bathroom sink (15 cm without Dock-In, 20 cm with Dock-In) that is recommended for both seated wheelchair users and standing users. You can rotate the sink by 180˚, which allows the sink to be pulled to the toilet. With SwingLine, users can safely wash their hands while seated on the toilet.
