The Ropox Award – A Tribute to the Passionate Pioneers of Occupational Therapy

Since 1989, Ropox has annually honored an occupational therapist who has made an extraordinary contribution with the Ropox Prize and an accompanying grant of 25,000 DKK.

The prize reflects our clear mission: to make a difference for people with disabilities through innovative kitchen solutions, advanced tables, a wide range of bathroom products, and much more.

Any occupational therapist or group of therapists can nominate a colleague for the Ropox Prize. All nominations are sent directly to the Danish Association of Occupational Therapists, where the association’s vice-chairman and two practicing therapists review the nominations and select the winner. Ropox does not participate in selecting the winner.

Winner 2025: Didde Neuchs Christensen

We are proud to announce that the Ropox Award 2025 has been presented to Didde Neuchs Christensen, Head of the Assistive Technology Center, City of Copenhagen.

Didde has made a significant impact on the field of occupational therapy and the assistive technology sector through her visionary approach, commitment to evidence-based practice, and ability to foster cross-sector, interdisciplinary collaboration. She has also focused on creating new career opportunities for occupational therapists and on strengthening professional expertise in the interaction between citizens, professionals, and technology.

The award recognizes her remarkable dedication, innovation, and commitment to developing more inclusive and sustainable solutions that make a genuine difference in the everyday lives of both citizens and professionals.
