A stylish, practical and userfriendly washbasin
Bathroom solutions for elderly and disabled people have to be safe, flexible and functional, – and they have to look good as well.
The VanityLine washbasin series is developed with exactly these requirements in mind. This means that the user and their carers can rely on a durable, stable and userfriendly washbasin that will fit well into the interiors of modern homes, hospitals, and care centers.
Height adjustment with safety stop
VanityLine washbasins are available with manual or electrical height adjustment.
Models with manual height adjustment are lowered and raised using a small handle that is mounted on the front of the washbasin. It is easy to put the handle on and off, and you can quickly set the washbasin to the desired height level.
Models with electrical height adjustment have a control switch located on the front of the washbasin making it easy to reach for the user. You can decide if the switch should be on the left or right side of the unit.
All models have a height adjustment range from 68-98 cm. When lowered, the height is suited for seated use, and when raised, the washbasin is suited for standing use.
VanityLine models also have a safety stop located on the underside of the washbasin to prevent entrapment injuries. If the washbasin encounters any resistance when lowered, the safety stop will stop the height adjustment at once. This safety feature gives both user and carer peace of mind.
Using a washbasin becomes more accessible for people with reduced functional capacity
The washbasin is designed relatively shallow and does not have a cabinet underneath it which means that there is maximum room under the bowl. This provides easy access for the seated users, and it allows wheelchairs to get close to the washbasin.
The bowl itself is only 120 mm high and the standard tap has a good height which ensures that all users can reach the tap and get their hands under the jet without difficulty.
The standard size model, 90 cm wide, and the large model, 120 cm wide, both offer the option to choose whether the sink should be placed on the right or left side of the unit. This is particularly relevant if the washbasin is placed up to a corner or wall.
A flexible washbasin for seniors and disabled
When choosing the wall-mounted VanityLine washbasin, you do not compromise on either design or user-friendliness because it has a modern and elegant look and at the same time, it is easy to use for people with limited physical capability.
Whether you need a compact washbasin for bathrooms with limited space or if you are looking for a more spacious solution with plenty of room for toiletries on the side of the washbasin, the VanityLine models can meet – or exceed – your needs.
As the washbasin is wall-mounted it is very stable and can be used to lean on for support when standing up or sitting down; a stability that is necessary for users with reduced mobility.
The three sizes, the height adjustment, and the handicap friendly design make it an attractive solution for bathrooms in both private homes, care centers, nursing homes, and hospitals.
